Education:    1939-1951 elementary and high school

                     1951-1954 philosophy at Society of the Divine Word (SVD) seminary, Pieniezno

                     1954-1958 theology at the same seminary

                     1957- ordained Catholic priest

                     1959-1964 biology and physical anthropology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Pl

                     1964 MSc in biology (physical anthropology)

                     1969 PhD in Bioanthropology from the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland

                     1974/75 & 1976/77  Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow, Germany

                     1977 habilitation in Bioanthropology at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland

1964-1965 Lecturer of Philosophy of Nature at the SVD seminary, Pieniezno, Poland August 1965 moved to Indonesia

1966-1977 Lecturer of Anthropology and Philosophy of Nature at the Institute of Philosophy and Catholic Theology in Ledalero, Flores, Indonesia

1972-1974 Visiting Lecturer at the Nusa Cendana University in Kupang, Timor, Indonesia Lecturer of Bioanthropology at the Catholic University Atma Jaya, Jakarta
